What's so special about Fiesta Housekeeping?

Easy question. We first developed our housekeeping for our original software called HiRUM and have since expanded on it's capabilities to make it more suitable for Hotels and Motels whose servicing requirements are quite different to self serviced apartments.

Scheduling and Reports

* You can schedule room cleans on any day of a guests stay or all days

* Linen changes can be scheduled for preset days and moved forward or back to suit staff requirements

* Extra Linen changes can be added to a guests schedule either before or after arrival or even during the stay.

* Messages can printed on the daily schedules for the housekeepers.

* Housekeepers or 'teams' can be attached permanently to a range of rooms.

* Reports can be printed by room range or by housekeeper range.

* Rooms can be set to automatically be marked dirty on checkout.

* With a suitable PABX rooms can be marked Clean or DNL by housekeepers from the room.

Here is a typical Guest schedule to show you how we manage each guests stay. Click on the image to see it full size.

The day of arrival shows no service. Thereafter it is set to a Daily Service (clean) and every fourth day it is set to a Linen Change. On the 26th there is a scheduled linen change that can be moved back to the Saturday or forward to Monday if more suitable to staffing.

Housekeepers can also 'mark' the service when done to tell the system it is ok to charge the unit owner for the costs of servicing. You can see on this example that the first two days have had their service done. Obviously this option is for managed apartments.

Diary messages may be left for housekeepers by front office staff to alert the housekeepers on guest special requirements such as an extra bed or cot or to air the room to remove deodorant smells due to allergies etc. The diary messages print on the housekeeping reports.

The Reset option is to reset all services back to the original settings.

Maintenance

With a suitable PABX rooms can be set to Do Not Let by housekeepers from the room by up to 50 preset options

Lost Property

Lost property is basically a part of housekeeping. We provide a complete register of all goods left behind by guests with date and time when found, unit occupied, the probable guests name with a link to their reservation details, if unclaimed after three months to which charity the goods were donated or if posted to the guest, the date of dispatch and the cost of dispatch. It is a full register to comply with Australian law on lost property.

Room Inventory

Fiesta provides you with a system that lets you enter every item that makes up a room inventory.

It includes a description, make, model, serial number, date of purchase, invoice number, value, from whom purchased and if since sold, the date of sale and the amount of sale.

You can enter unlimited items against each room and print a separate report for each room. This is good for taxation depreciation purposes and also for claiming against items stolen from rooms and claimed under insurance.

A unit inventory also alerts housekeepers to check for stolen property and report the item immediately.
